SSB Lecturette Series: The ugly case of Pathankot

The recent Pathankot incident in which six terrorists that are suspected to belong to the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) entered into the Indian Air Force base is a clear indication of poor decision making of the senior members of the security establishments, the lack of seriousness towards the inputs provided by the intelligence agencies and unpreparedness in securing the most vulnerable areas which are best designs for the terror attacks.

ODD-EVEN SCHEME: Air Pollution under scanner

In an effort to reduce the air pollution which is at an all-time high and impacting the environment, the Delhi government proposed the odd-even scheme where the vehicles with odd and even number plates should hit the road on alternate days. This way the government thinks that the air pollution caused by increasing vehicular presence on the road can be kept under check.

The Bihar election have finally concluded and the results are out. The BJP along with its allies has been beaten in the election by the so called old-school politicians Nitish and Lalu. The BJP despite putting in full force have again got the same result as the Delhi elections. The results not only shocked the BJP but the winning Grand Alliance as well, as they did not think that they would enjoy such a majority in this election.
