As promised by SSB Vision Team the result would be declared soon and here is that time now. AFCAT is held twice a year and it is the gateway to get the coveted wings of the Indian Air-force. This year the first AFCAT exam was help on 22 February 2015 and all were eagerly waiting for the results. Finally the wait is over and Air-force authorities have published the results. Get ready to see the results. But before that see the severity of the competition aspirants will be facing:
- Total students shortlisted this time: 10120
- Cutoff for AFCAT - 126/300
- Cutoff for EKT1 - 55/150
- Deadline to select SSB Center and dates : 12 April 2015
The cutoff is decided based on the requirement of Air-force and the training needs and it changes every year. Keeping this in mind though the cutoff seems to be reduced as compared to previous trend of air-force they have shortlisted nearly ten thousand aspirants who will be undergoing the SSB this time. Not to forget that SSB can be given only by those aspirants who have cleared the AFCAT exam. But yes , the following needs to be kept in mind:
- Candidates who have cleared both the AFCAT and EKT cutoffs will be only eligible for Technical branch of Indian Air force.
- Now the individual scores can be checked by logging into the candidate login on the website.
- Candidates also need to select their SSB centers ASAP by logging into the Candidate log in section as the deadline is not too far.
- for people who do not select the center and dates for AFSB will be given automatically as per the system and the remaining seats in centers and they will be intimated by mails. So don't forget to select.
- Dont forget to print the call up letter as it is one of the essential document checked at AFSB . Also it should be immediately generated and saved locally.
- For any technical flaw that you face please drop a mail to AFCAT helpline/cell.
So check your results and book your centers as per your choice and convenience. Also start working for your dream as SSB would start now immediately.
