Thought of starting a new series
where we will provide sample of the things being asked at SSB. In this solution
set we will consider majorly the psychology round which consists of four
rounds. Along with the sample solutions we will provide tips to perform well in
SSB psychology as lot of aspirants have dropped me a mail regarding the same.

Round 1: TAT-
It consists of 11+1 pictures where
the last one is blank and the aspirants are expected to write the stories based
on the picture shown. Time given is four minute to write each story.
Tips to excel:
·
Never try to copy story from some other source. Always try to reflect your
personality rather than life events.
·
It’s a well-known myth where people try to link it to their life by
copying events and they are rejected.
·
Always give age of characters, and write what led to the story, what
happened in the action part and a proper ending to the story.
·
Psychologist is interested in extracting out the qualities rather than
anything else, so don’t think it to be a English exam as use of flashy words
can’t save you if the story is psychologically wrong.
Let’s see some sample pictures and
their sample stories. Please remember that I have produced these stories
keeping different personalities in mind. They are mere samples and might match
with your personality or not. My mentees have also helped me in producing these
samples. Other tips and ways to attempt will be covered in next series also.
Sample set:
Story 1:
Ankur was 24 years old and worked in
an MNC; he used to live in a flat with his friends Abhi and shardul. The three
were college mates and had got the job in this company through college
placement. Abhi had a girlfriend Neha who was also part of the boys group. They
all hanged out and had fun. One day when Ankur came back from work early he
gets a call from Abhi saying that he needed him as it was serious. Ankur rushes
to him and sees that Abhi and Neha were having a huge fight. Ankur immediately
jumps in and stops them. He calms them down and hears each side’s opinion. He
tells them not to fight as fights only weaken the relations, he reminds them of
the good times they all have spent together, the jokes and the laughter ,his
talk makes them realize their mistake and they patch up. They both later thank
Ankur for his help.
Story 2:
Rakesh was 31 years old and was a
police constable. He lived in the city along with his parents and wife and was
a father of a 3 year old. As the city was having a fair he used to be present
in the fair at evening. One day when he was doing his duty he saw a man was
running around here and there and was looking for something. Seeing him worried
Rakesh goes to him and asks him the matter and learns that the person came with
his boy who he had lost in the fair and was not able to find him. Rakesh calmed
him down, gave him water and helped him. He through the police loudspeaker made
an announcement to the people to help the boy meet his father, within minutes a
person came forward with the boy, the boy on seeing his father ran to him, his
father hugged him tightly, he thanked Rakesh, and Rakesh was pleased to help
but told him to be careful.

ReplyDeleteParam is 25 years of age and is working in automobile sector. he lives with his family in which he has younger brother and sister. his siblings always quarreled with each other. he decided to take them for picnic.they went to the famous park in their city. they were enjoying the visit. suddenly his siblings started fighting with the issue who is best. Param separated them and scolded them. He made them understand the importance of relationship how they can help each other and their parents. they should respect each other and must be best with their studies and sports.both of them shake their hand and promised Param they will never fight. they came to home and narrated the whole event to their parents. the parents were happy to see the unity and love among their childrens.

ReplyDeleteVikram was a 25 years old head constable in his village. the administration had conducted a huge fair in which he was given the security responsibility. In the evening a man came to him rushing saying he had lost his son in fair. Vikram made him cool saying not to worry he will find his boy. he inquired the man about his son age, looks and what is he wearing. he informs his sepoys to get into action and look for the boy and ask the local shopkeepers. he goes to the fair management and makes an announcement about the 8 year old boy dressed in red and yellow t-shirt and pants. After 1 hour of search they were able to find the boy near a toyshop. Vikram gives the boy to his father. the father on seeing his son starts crying and picks him on his arms and hugs him. he thanks vikram for saving the life of his son. Vikram instructs him always hold the boys hand while in crowded area and feels relief he was able to find the boy.
Psychologically, you are going fine. sart working on the flow of stories and the way you express. That will definitely help u score well n rank better in merit
DeleteThe lead character of my story is Ayushi who is an engg graduate and works as an asst professor in the college.
ReplyDeleteAyushi return to her hometown in diwali holidays and called her friends to meet up for get together .Everyone came up but two her close friends ankur and anubhav did not come.
Arushi get to know from other friends that they are not talking to each other from few days back due to some misunderstanding.
So ayushi made a plan to unite them
back and called them one by one to come up to a park urgently as she is in trouble both of them came within minutes and she made them search her during their search they both face each other and asked about ayushi that where she is by this atleast they talked to each other and search her together she come forward to them surprisingly and started talking. By this they cleared their misunderstandings and became friends again .

DeleteRohan is a boy of age 24yrs. he is studying in a college for graduation. he had come home in his holidays. when he come home he got to know about ruchi his by Akash that she has left her studies because her family doesn't want her to go in city and live alone and complete graduation. so Rohan talked her about it went to her father.Rohan told er father how girls are coming forward in today's world even girl are fighter pilot in defence and convince er father to send her for completion of her graduation and finally send went for her graduation and bring fame to her family she thank Rohan and Akash for their support.

DeleteRenju,Akhil and arsha are classmates,they are also good friends.after completion of their higher secondary they are decided to join in university college for graduation.on day they are meet in a park,arsha looking very sad becouse her father does not like to send his daughter for higher studies,and he arranged a marriage for her daugher.

Story 1
ReplyDeleteShivansh is the forest officer. one day on patrolling he observed the illegal cutting of the trees for clearing the land and see so many factories has been established in the outskirts of the village which gave out large amount of smoke which Deteriote the quality of air in the region. He went to the factories and make mandatory the use of catalytic converters for purification of air. he also take strict actions against those who cut trees illegaly. he also gathered peoples and create awareness to plant more trees. With his effort the village is full of with greenery and the quality of air improve in the region.

Deleteram and his other 2 friends were visiting their hometown during their sem break. They noticed that there were rise in wild animal sightings at the park near the forest of the town and decided to do something about it.HE issued warning posters spreading awareness to not go near the park and posted it in the locality whatsapp group. They gathered at the park to enquire about the cause and found out the wire mesh down layed to avoid the trespassing of animals was worn out at one corner. he worked with his friends and temporarily fixed it and later on informed the authorities to seal it. He was satisfied with his efforts and enjoyed his vacation with his friends here after.
ReplyDeleteakshay was the police officer of his locality. it was the time of holi and he was given the task to monitor the crowd at the vishnu temple, which he took it with pride and starting working on it. He gathered his team and divided task accordingly.ON his rounds he noticed a small boy in the lap of his father, the small boy got injured from the crowd stomp. he calmed him down by giving him a candy and guided the family to the temple and ensured that the boy was treated later on. The father thanked him and akshay appreciated the efforts made by the team.
