January is a month where many things are happening. The 5 states are seeing the politics and the environment gets hot because of it even in severe cold. While the finance ministry is brushing up for the budget. Lets see what week 2 of this month brings for us.

·         Narendra  modi government has appointed two panels to look into modalities of setting up five universities for minorities and offer grant-in aid madarsas offering mainstream education, a move that ahead of polls in five states including Utter Pradesh which has a sizeable Muslim population

SURVEY BEGUNS ON KIDS HEALTH IN TELANGANA
·         Though the government has been spending crores of rupees on the health of kids in the age group 0-3 years, the morality rate among them is alarming. To check this, the government is collecting child-wise details including their weight, anaemia, nutrition-levels, etc.
KOCHI CANCER CENTRE SET TO GET KIIFB GREEN LIGHT
·         The health department is proceeding with second phase of the cochin cancer research centre project costing 354 crores by ensuring that it  will pass the tests of Kerala infrastructure investment fund board
