IAF INVITES ENTERPRISING & ADVENTUROUS INDIAN CITIZENS (MEN AND WOMEN) TO JOIN AS COMMISSIONED OFFICERS IN FLYING, GROUND DUTY (TECHNICAL) AND GROUND DUTY (NON-TECHNICAL) BRANCHES, NCC SPECIAL ENTRY, METEOROLOGY ENTRY

Online applications are invited for the courses commencing in Jul 2019 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission (PC) / Short Service Commission (SSC) in Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. Online applications are also invited for NCC Special Entry Scheme (For grant of PC/SSC in Flying Branch) and Meteorology Branch.

·       Flying 206/19F/SSC/M & W SSC-42

·      Ground Duty (Technical) 205/19T/PC/M 205/19T/SSC/M & W AE(L): PC-22, SSC-30 AE(M): PC-10, SSC-14 Ground Duty (NonTechnical) 205/19G/PC/M 205/19G/SSC/M & W

·       Admin: PC-8 SSC-12 Logistics: PC-1, SSC-4 Accounts: PC-3, SSC-5 Education:PC-3,

·   SSC-4 NCC Special Entry Flying 206/19F/PC/M 206/19F/SSC/M & W 10% seats out of CDSE vacancies

·      Meteorology Branch Ground Duty (Non Technical) 205/19G/PC/M 205/19G/SSC/M & W PC-10 SSC-14

Last date for submission of Online applications: 15 July 2018. Please note that information filled up by the candidates in online application form will be considered final and no amendments will be allowed subsequently.

Online testing will be conducted for AFCAT entry at various centers. Candidates registering for AFCAT entry will have to pay an amount of Rs. 250/- as examination fee. However, candidates registering for Meteorology entry and NCC Special entry are not required to pay. Details of conduct, examination centers and mode of payment are available in the notification. Refer detailed notification on official website. This is just the replica of advertisement for spreading the word.

TYPE OF COMMISSION: 

·         Permanent Commission: 

Candidates joining as Permanent Commission (PC) officers would continue to serve till the age of superannuation. 

·         Short Service Commission: 

(a)The Engagement period for SSC Flying Branch is Fourteen years from the date of Commissioning (Not extendable). 

(b) The initial tenure for Short Service Commission officers in Technical and Ground Duty Branches would be for a period of ten years. An extension of four years may be granted subject to willingness, service requirements and availability of vacancies.

Eligible candidates are to register online through separate tabs available for AFCAT Entry/NCC Special Entry/MET Entry. Candidates eligible for one/more entries are to register separately in each entry. Candidates are required to maintain their unique registered E-Mail ID and mobile phone number active throughout the selection process. Please note that information filled up by the candidates in online application form will be considered final and no amendments will be allowed subsequently. Candidates should exercise due care while entering their date of birth.
