Finally the wait is over. It has
been long that the center allocation for TGC -121 has been released by the
Indian army headquarters and aspirants were eagerly waiting for their SSB
Dates. Now finally the dates for all the centers have been released and SSB are
starting next month in April for all the centers. TGC is a technical graduate
course in the Indian army which on completion offers a permanent commission to
the aspirants and definitely the training for the course happens at IMA,
Dehradun. IMA has been an institution which owns the legacy of many heroes who
were the alumni of this institution and that’s why its most seek after academy
by the aspirants. This entry is opened twice a year and all B Tech graduates
are eligible to fill this entry. The branch of B.Tech /BE changes as per

Now let me present in front of
you the fierce competition you people will be facing. Some data facts reveal
that the cut-off for this entry has been increasing every year as the number of
applicants are increasing day by day and it’s a happy notion that out youth is interested
in joining the forces. Because the applicants are increasing and the entries
that need to be accepted in IMA each year are fixed, the competition is growing
like anything. Not only this let me bring another fact that this time though
the cut-off varies branch wise and it is expected to be near 70% for few
branches overall around 31000 have been shortlisted and have been called for
SSB. Also the competition is made tough if you see that for each entry of
officer at IMA 500 aspirants are fighting for it.
- Total students shortlisted: Around 31000
- Ratio of fight for a seat of IMA: 1:500
- Aspirants allocated Allahabad center: 15211
- Aspirants allocated Bangalore center: 6093
- Aspirants allocated Bhopal center: 9108
- Expected cut-off branch wise: 70%
Lets see how many aspirants have been called on a singly day to each center. This is in coordination with the myth that few centres are tough and few are easy but its completely wrong. Aspirants are called based on the capacity of the selection center.
- Aspirants called up in Allahabad selection center during single day: 1600-1700
- Aspirants called up in Bhopal selection center during single day: 1100-1200
- Aspirants called up in Bangalore selection center during single day: 800-900
The above data simple tells that competition
is tough now and it’s not at all easy to wear that uniform with starts but
nothing is impossible also. Believe me if you have OLQ’s no one can stop you
from getting selected, so don’t wait for the last moment and immediately start
with personality development and psychology which are the basic elements
checked at SSB and these things need time for improvement. These are few ways
