SSB Awareness Series: Does India need a Security Adviser?

National security adviser to India, it’s none another than Ajit Doval. He is been in news from past few weeks or been from months. But the question is that “DOES INDIA NEED A SECURITY ADVISER LIKE HIM “or not..?

We all know that the terrorist attack on India, going to be too extreme in coming days, if we not realize the serious threat know what’s going on and try to completely abolish the things as early as possible. The example is recent Pathankot air base attack. If the present government does not take the attack seriously then the Prime Minister Modi cannot sustain as the PM, for so long time and definitely again we need to be under the rule of congress. So the security advisor like Ajit Doval plays a key role in the decision making and also the counter attack.

He is popularly known as Indian Spy. Where he has been in Pakistan for nearly about 7years and got complete information about the most wanted Davood Ibrahim and his existence in the Pakistan. His duty, commitment and sincerity towards the country are really superb.

He has activated intelligence assets even strongly in West Asia, South East Asia. This helped India extract underworld don Chhota Rajan safely from Australia via Indonesia. Thanks to this man of cool nerve, sources in security establishment say that in the last 18 months of Doval, even Pakistan is slowly coming around to the idea that proxy war would ultimately fail and it needs diplomacy and sense of political approach to bring about a just and lasting peace on the border.

When the Paris attack took place in the November 2015, Indian Prime Minister Modi needs to attend a meeting in Paris, where the NSA Ajit Doval planned to keep the PM safely .He made several alternatives, he  didn’t conformed anyone until the last moment of the travel, he did this with the help of Paris police. He has nearly 5 to 10 alternatives, where the mind is highly active to change the plans and strategy to keep MODI in safe place. Even Paris police men were not able to catch his plans at that moment.

·         He was India’s main negotiator with the hijackers of the Indian Airlines flight IC-814 in Kandahar in 1999.

·         He also played a prominent role in the merger of Sikkim state with India.

·         He was the director of Vivekananda International Foundation, a think-tank with centre-right leanings. Nripendra Mishra, newly appointed Principal Secretary to Narendra Modi is also a member of this highly respected think tank.

·         During Operation Black Thunder, Doval was inside the Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar. He masqueraded as a Pakistani agent and met the Khalistani militants. He is said to be the man behind the success of Operation Black Thunder and the rescue of Romanian diplomat Liviu Radu who was kidnapped by Sikh militants.

Once he was in Sastra University in Chennai for a formal function, he stated that “If you (Pakistan) do a Mumbai, you will lose Baluchistan”. By this statement we can describe his aggressiveness.In 1988, Doval was awarded one of the highest gallantry awards, the Kirti Chakra, becoming the first police officer to receive a medal previously given only as a military honor.He was later awarded the President's Police Medal.

Finally we need people like him in India for must and should but we cannot train anyone like that ….I hope those are inborn talents one must be able to train oneself to be like that in such a place and such a committed officers are definitely be in the future .
