Yes its true that they only look at the OLQ's but what does these OLQ really means for the aspirants and how can one know whether they have it in them or not.... PIQ : Importance and seven tips for improvement

This would be the probably the first form you get to fill once you are screened in after clearing the Day 1 at SSB/AFSB/PSB/FSB. This is the first and undoubtedly the most important form of your SSB and hence needs special preparation. PIQ stands for Personal Information Questionnaire. SSB Decoded : SSB Vision Lucknow Workshop Chapter 2

The SSB vision team was all set again to conduct an on demand workshop but this time in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. The Lucknow workshop was conducted on 18^th March 2017. It was a chilly morning initially but the afternoon was hot. People were still enjoying the political win for the parties in the latest UP elections. Infact we finalized the venue where the oath taking ceremony was to happen and we changed it because of the sudden declaration for the ceremony. Some of them dared to move out and attend the workshop while few late starters were still juggling for some relax in their life on weekend.

How to perform well in Self-Description round of psychology at SSB?

In SD one is expected to appraise him or her based on certain situations. You will be expected to write what you think about yourself, what your parents, teachers, friends, boss etc. think about you and what can be your strength and weakness. The time provided for this exercise is 15 minutes and let me clarify that this is the most important exercise of all the four because here you tell the assessors what you have.

Revealing Secret of Officer like Qualities for getting selected in Indian Defense forces

It has been discussed a lot that what a person needs for being the part of Indian defense forces. I had been receiving multiple queries on this. Everyone asks me that they have been performing well in all the rounds but still they have not been taken while someone who has average performance had been selected. Please learn at this point of time that at SSB you are only tested for 15 OLQ's and nothing else. Each of the three ways that are there for testing these qualities only. Three rounds of Psychology , PI and GTO are kept to ensure no mistake is done in assessment and personal bias is at the lowest. All the three assessors will be testing the same personality in different ways and aspirants need to ensure that the same  qualities should be coming out as response everywhere. What is needed for getting selected in SSB?

Already thought of joining Indian defense services?  Alas... You are on the right path. Indian defense is one of the best services one could opt for being in India. It is a place where you could live for your country and think of serving and protecting its rights. Being surrounded by neighbors who do not tend to have good relations with our country it’s the need of time. Every youth want to contribute to its motherland but the real right is bestowed to the defense personnel’s only. They are the real heroes and have the power to do so. If you want to be one, identify the need of service for motherland in your heart and brain and then move ahead.

What to do after clearing AFCAT ?

First of all I would like to congratulate who are among the ten thousand aspirants who have made through the stage one of selection for the Indian Air force officers. The nest step is to be taken immediately. I have been receiving a lot of queries in selection of AFSB center and other such queries so i thought of solving those queries collectively through this forum. In the previous part 1 of this series we saw how screening is conducted and how the things done at that level. Also since there is more number of assessors aspirants should be assured that there might be no evaluation error and three assessors are kept so that this error could be minimized. Now how to improve the performance at screening so that selection could be ensured. There are many factors that are being judged at screening rounds. Remember that though 15 OLQ's are being judged at SSB here only the potential to show that there is a will to be an Indian defense force officer can ensure selection. The aspirants might be thinking that how can showing of a blurred picture, writing story, doing GD reveal that. Please remember that SSB is a scientifically designed process where things happen like this only so these things will bring out your qualities that are based on perception. 

TGC -123 SSB center allocation released for Indian Army

Finally the wait is over. It has been long that the aspirants were waiting for center allocation of TGC -123 by the Indian army headquarters. Now finally the center allocation has been released and SSB would be starting in next month in Jan -Feb for all the centers.
