Project Implementation:
The Ministry of Women and Child development would be responsible for budgetary control and administration of the scheme from the center. At the national level a National Task force for Beti bachao, Beti Padhao headed by the Secretary WCD with the representation from various ministries namely Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Human Resource Development, National Legal Services Authority, Department of Disability Affairs ad Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Gender experts and Civil society representatives will be formed. This task force will provide guidance and support, finalize training content and review state plans and monitor effective implementation.

They will ultimately govern the State Task Force (STF) which will be headed by the Chief Secretary. In UT the task force will be headed by the Administrator of the UT Administration. The STF will in turn govern the District Task Force led by the District Collector or Deputy Commissioner with the representation from the concerned departments. AT the Block level committee would be set under the Chairperson of the Sub divisional Magistrate or the Block development officer to provide support for the effective implementation and the supervision of the Block action plan. In villages Village Health Sanitation and Nutrition Committees will guide and support village level implementation and monitoring the plan.  The frontline workers from AWWs, ASHAs and ANMs will collect data, create awareness on the issue of CSR, and give information on the various scheme and programs related to girl child and their families.

In cities and the urban areas the plan will be implemented under the overall guidance and leadership of Municipal Corporations.

A YouTube channel on BBBP has been launched to create awareness on the issue of declining child sex ratio. Further videos are being uploaded continuously and shared through this platform for generating awareness and for easy access and dissemination. Moreover, to interact with the nation a group has been launched on the MyGov platform in order to seek active participation, in order to make this initiative a success.

Conclusion:

Hence the initiative by the government in order to protect the girl child and educate them has been excellent. It will ultimately have a positive impact on the society as the Sex ratio will come under control. Moreover, women empowerment which is being talked again and again will be achieved in real sense as the girls will be educated from the childhood itself. Also, they will now effectively contribute to the economy of the country and be a good house maker as well. Moreover, an educated girl leads to an educated family; hence, through this process education will be promoted in all the sectors of the society. So overall, this will help in the growth of the nation in correct sense.
